HRT-97 Explosion-proof Floodlight

The HRT97 Series IECEx explosion-proof LED floodlight is a high-power hazardous area lighting solution designed for use in explosive gas and dust atmospheres. Fully IECEx and ATEX certified, the HRT97 LED floodlight is suitable for Zone 2 gas hazardous areas and Zone 21/22 combustible dust environments, making it ideal for oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, mining, LNG, and heavy industrial applications.

This explosion-protected LED floodlight is engineered with a robust copper-free aluminium alloy enclosure, IP66 ingress protection, and a toughened glass lens, ensuring reliable performance in harsh industrial and outdoor hazardous locations. The HRT97 hazardous area floodlight delivers high luminous output with excellent optical efficiency, long service life, and minimal maintenance requirements.

Available in multiple wattages including 200W, 400W, 600W, 800W, and 1000W, the HRT97 IECEx LED floodlight provides up to 145,000 lumens, making it suitable for large-area illumination, high-mast lighting, process areas, and perimeter lighting in classified zones. Standard 60° beam optics are supplied, with optional 30° narrow beam lenses available for long-throw or focused illumination requirements.

The HRT97 explosion-proof luminaire complies with IEC 60079 and EN 60079 standards and is certified for gas group IIC and dust applications. Temperature classifications include T4 / T130°C and T3 / T195°C, supporting operation in extreme ambient temperatures down to −60°C. A wide voltage input range of 100–277VAC (50/60Hz) or 150–250VDC enables global deployment across hazardous industrial sites.

Designed for long-term reliability, the HRT97 hazardous area LED floodlight features a high-efficiency LED driver with constant current output, surge protection, over-current protection, and electromagnetic interference suppression. With a rated LED life of up to 100,000 hours, this IECEx floodlight significantly reduces maintenance costs and downtime in hazardous environments.
