Hazardous Area Flexible Lighting

Hazardous Area Flexible Strip Lighting for IECEx Installations

Hazardous area flexible strip lighting provides continuous, low-profile illumination for Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 environments where conventional linear luminaires are impractical. IECEx-certified Ex mb flexible LED strip systems are fully encapsulated and designed for use in oil & gas facilities, refineries, LNG plants, tank farms, hazardous goods storage areas and offshore installations across Australia.

Flexible strip lighting is particularly suited to confined spaces, temporary shutdown lighting, inside tanks during inspections, under pipe racks, along conveyors and on stairways or access platforms. Unlike individual linear fittings, flexible strip systems deliver consistent illumination along their full length with a single power connection per run, reducing installation complexity and ongoing maintenance requirements.

Inatex supplies IECEx compliant flexible strip lighting solutions with multiple voltage options and custom lengths to suit project-specific hazardous area applications.

IECEx Solar Panels: New Possibilities for Remote Hazardous Area Power

Australia’s industrial facilities are often separated by distance. Across oil and gas, resources, processing and infrastructure projects, relatively small electrical loads can be located hundreds of metres, or sometimes considerably further, from an established power supply. Providing power to remote equipment can therefore require significantly more infrastructure than the load
